Robert Czarnik (born January 10, 1990) is an American professional ice hockey forward. He is currently under contract to the Reading Royals of the ECHL. He was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the 3rd round (63rd overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. ==Playing career== Prior to turning professional, Czarnik attended the University of Michigan where he played two seasons of NCAA Division I college hockey with the Michigan Wolverines men's ice hockey team. On October 12, 2011, the Los Angeles Kings signed Czarnik to a three-year entry level contract. In the 2013–14 season, his final contract year with the Kings, Czarnik was traded by Los Angeles to the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Steve Quailer on February 6, 2014. On September 25, 2014, without an NHL or AHL contract on offer, Czarnik signed as a free agent to a one-year contract with the Indy Fuel of the ECHL. On January 13, 2015 Indy traded him the Ontario Reign where he played eight games before the Reign traded him to the Gwinnett Gladiators on March 11, 2015. However, he was returned to Ontario after failing a physical in Gwinnett〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Ontario Deal Restructured )〕 only to be called up on a professional tryout contract (PTO) for the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL on March 17. 2015.
